The Mauritanian Investment Bank (BMI) is a public limited company under Mauritanian law created in 2016. Its head office is located in Nouakchott. A 100% Islamic bank, the BMI operates only in accordance with the precepts of the Sharia. Its activities began in June 2017 with the opening of 15 branches spread between Nouakchott and the main cities of Mauritania
